The 1R1G led display,we also call it as dual color led display and fake full color led display. Because the composition of the pixel is 1R1G. And when the two lamps working at the same, it can appearances the yellow color, so this display can display the red, green and yellow three colors.
Not only the red and green working at the same time appears the yellow color, the other two colors mixed will appeas this appearances. We called it as Three colors mixed color principle.
Three primary colors mixed color principle is:
Red + Green= Yellow
Green + Blue= Cyan
Red +Blue= Magenta
Red +Green+ Blur=White
The yellow, cyan and magenta is made up of the maturing of two primary colors, it is not the primary colors, but it also can appears the white color when mixed with the primary color.
Red + Cyan= White
Green + Magenta= White
Yelllow +Blue= White
