LED enterprises to speed up the pace to enter the China market
5/4/2012The LED display chip is the core material of the LED display, support by the favorable policies and capital strength, LED enterprises rapid expansion of production capacity. But the domestic LED enterprises gather in application fields, most of China's LED chips imported from the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan and other places.
It is understood that there are have 10 LED corporates listed and fund-raising more than 6 billion yuan. These listed companies are often at the end of the LED industry chain, financial funds are not used to technology upgrades, or the development of core technology.
Insiders pointed out that the if the problem of core technology loss can not resolve, the direct consequence of LED business listing and financing is overcapacity. Capacity further release will make market competition intensified.
A number of multinational giants have formed a LED patent alliance, they are promoting the technological monopoly strategy, which will bring greater pressure to China LED market. Large quantities of funds injected into the China LED industry, will result in LED production capacity expansion.
The industry believes that there are many small LED lighting and LED display manufaucturers will face a hard competition in 2012, although disable the traditional light bulb to bring the application opportunities, but only strong technical vendors have a better of life.
A domestic well-known LED business executives pointed out that many government procurement focuses on end-product prices, does not bother you are using someone chips, which lead abroad LED chip makers rapid occupation of the domestic market. The official suggested that if the Government is in the works to tender, use of domestic LED chip products, which will benefit the national development of LED industry.
China LED companies need accumulate its own core technology, breaking down barriers to foreign. Industry veteran reminded that the national industry is not yet mature, excessive open LED lighting market will harm to domestic enterprises development.
