Project Background: Why Did the Client Need Shopping Mall LED Display?
In Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, City Mall is one of the most popular shopping centers. In mid-2024, our client was looking for a new way to make the mall more appealing. As a well-known local shopping center, they wanted to use digital advertising to attract more customers and improve the mall’s brand image. So the shopping mall LED display would help draw in high-end brand stores.

However, they faced a challenge: different areas inside and outside the mall required different types of LED displays. Regular LED screens on the market were either not attractive enough or too complicated to install, clashing with the building’s design.
After comparing different suppliers, the client chose YUCHIP, hoping we could provide a shopping mall LED display solution tailored to their needs.
Needs Analysis: What Mattered Most to the Client?
Through talks with our client, we identified their key needs and concerns:
- The sightseeing elevator needed an LED screen that wouldn’t block transparency or the open feel.
- The indoor balconies required high-definition LED screens for ads, but they had to be thin to blend with the mall’s design.
- The exterior wall needed an ultra-bright LED screen, visible even in direct sunlight, and capable of 3D visuals. Most importantly, since the left side of the building’s outer wall is slanted, the screen must fit as closely as possible to the wall to achieve the best visual effect.
- The entire LED system had to be easy to install, minimizing disruption to the mall’s daily operations.
Once we understood their needs, we started designing a custom LED solution just for them.

Why Choose a Transparent LED Display for Shopping Malls?
The mall’s elevator is for customers sightseeing. A regular LED screen on the glass elevator shaft would block the view and ruin the customer experience.

The mall’s balcony space is tight, and traditional LED screens (92mm thick) were too bulky and unattractive.
So we recommended the P2.6 InFiSlim LED Screen, with an ultra-thin design (just 43mm including the installation bracket). It fits perfectly into the balcony without ruining the mall’s style.

High-Brightness Outdoor LED Screens for Shopping Centers
Our client wanted a solution that delivers ultra-high brightness while perfectly fitting their slanted wall. So it came with some unique difficulties：

- The LED screen cabinets had to match the wall exactly. The left side of the building slants to the right, while the right side is flat and normal.
- The corner where the left and right cabinets meet needed a seamless connection.
- The visuals on the screen had to transition smoothly from one side to the other.
These issues made the shopping mall LED display project tricky, but after discussion we came up with some reliable ideas.
Our Tailored Solution
Here’s how we addressed each challenge:
1.Fitting the Slanted Wall: The left side of the building has a tilted design. To match the screen to this shape, we custom-built all the left-side cabinets with a 7° slant. This made them fit the wall perfectly. We also staggered the modules cleverly, ensuring the left and right screens showed one complete image.

2.Seamless Corner Design: We created specially designed cabinets that let the left and right screens join at the corner without any gaps. It looks clean and smooth.

3.Unified Visuals: Since the left-side cabinets and modules are angled, we tweaked the screen content. This adjustment kept the visuals consistent and flowing naturally into the right-side display.

At last, we offered the P10.42 Eco Pro LED Screen, customized with 10,000 nits of ultra-high brightness. The display remains sharp and vivid under strong sunlight. Plus, it supports 3D effects, allowing eye-catching 3D ads that make City Tower a standout landmark.

What’s more, we also provided a customized 135° angled outdoor LED screen for their another building project, perfect for corner spots with a wider viewing angle.
Shopping Mall LED Display Lighting Up the Space
Soon after, the full set of shopping mall LED displays was installed in Tbilisi with great effort:
- The sightseeing elevator got its “bright yet transparent P3.91 LED screen.”This huge see-through display lets customers enjoy the view while watching clear ads, instantly becoming a mall highlight.
- The P2.6 InFiSlim screens along the railings added an artistic touch to each floor. Their slim design made the space feel upscale.
- When the outdoor Eco Pro screen turned on, its 10,000-nit brightness made 3D ads shine even in direct sunlight, making the passerby stop to see.

In February 2025, the YUCHIP team visited City Mall to check the installation and see how the shopping mall LED displays were performing. We also gathered feedback from the client.
